“ My first visit to Bourbon Brothers Smokehouse & Tavern - Tyus was our server. He was more attentive during the last half of our meal after the resturant had cleared out some. Deviled egg appetizer was good but the filling was runny. I got the Bacon wrapped meatloaf which was a nice blend of flavors with the loaded, mashed potatoes and cream corn. The meatloaf was very dense and looked & tasted like there was only ground beef in it. Wish it had been a little more moist. I tried the creamy garlic chicken, sautéed spinach and BBQ beans. They were all very good. We could smell cigarette smoke that was drifting in from the bar area I think which was at the back of the restaurant and we were at the front. We asked if those doors could be closed and the answer was no. I have sinus problems with cigarette smoke so this made the meal much less enjoyable. I might return here when I'm next in Gainesville. ”

Very big, cool space with a lot of great seating outside, a large bar that opens up to the outside as well. I'm sure this place will be happening when the weather is a bit cooler. Bourbon Bros has great drink menu which included a good number of bourbon cocktails, including one of my favorites, The Paper Plane. The place is definitely pricey, with most cocktail as around $12-$15 and drafts around $7. The menu is barbecue and southern, not a lot for this bourbon drinking, cigar smoking vegetarian, but it's still a cool place to chill with friends, coworkers, or a nice date. ”

“ Came here tonight and from the outside sitting areas with fire places to the inside decor we loved the ambiance. I didn't catch our servers name however, she rocked. Everyone that stopped by our tables were always so friendly and smiling. This place is awesome in large crowds and have tvs to watch football on from every table. Now the good part the food! Man the appetizer I thought was expensive but when it hit the table it was huge and definitely worth the price. It was creamy and crispy. Definitely not greasy either surprisingly. I had the country fried steak with green beans and everything was seasoned to perfection. The gravy was some of the best I've ever had anywhere and the steak batter and cook was perfect. The smothered steak was just as good as my country fried steak. The desserts were very good. I did find the creme brûlée had more of a cream cheese taste compared to a typical custard. Which was different and unique. The bourbon bread pudding has a ton of bourbon so if you love bourbon definitely try this. I wanted to checkout the upstairs but was out first time visiting and will 100% be back. ”
